The liveliest days of the year are upon us! Over the long Carnival weekend, come and have fun at WOW. There are special menus, samba nights, themed visits and workshops.
With friends or family, here you’ll find options for days full of fun and relaxation.

Come and test your manual skills and creativity! This workshop is inspired by the Shrovetide traditions of the Schist Villages and will get you working with cork to create the perfect (or scariest!) mask.

The ‘Chocolatinhos’ workshops are already a classic at WOW. These days, we’re adapting the recipes and inviting the kids to dress up as master chocolatiers: are we going to decorate chocolate masks?

Because this is a museum that tells you all about Portugal’s wine-growing regions, during Carnival we’re organising guided tours that will explore the Podence Carnival tradition a little more. Travelling to Trás-os-Montes without leaving the museum?
Museums
It's a long weekend, the kids are full of energy and the weather is still unstable at the beginning of March. That's why at WOW you'll find the most cosy place to spend these days with the family. Princesses alert: there's a pink ball pool at the Pink Palace! Attention sailors: at the Porto Region Across The Ages Museum you can learn more about the Portuguese maritime expansion!

RESTAURANTE
T&C
From the 1st to the 4th of March, T&C will have a menu adapted, rich and consistent as the days of the season demand: “feijoada à transmontane”, “sopa da pedra” and “cozido à portuguesa”. If you’re a foodie person, this is the place for you!
RESTAURANTS
If strong Portuguese dishes aren't your thing, you can always opt for any of WOW's other restaurants. We have one to suit every disguise. Are you royalty? Come to 1828. Sailor or pirate? Choose the Golden Catch. Roman emperor or Italian painter? Come and eat at Pip. Anyway, bring your mask and choose the table you want to sit at!
